The Boardroom of a seigniorage protocol is where share holders in the protocol earn emissions of seigniorage when the price of Radiance is above peg.
At Celestial Finance, our boardroom does not have the typical fixed emission rate when over peg. Instead, we taper down expansion as we get closer to peg, and increase expansion as we get higher above peg.
During each phase of expansion, as we go from smaller circulation (under 100k tokens) to the next stages (250k, 500k, 1M and so on) the expansion rate cap decreases to keep a reasonable emission rate that is balanced by demand. The goal of this is to modulate emissions and sell pressure to create a less volatile price chart.
As the next technical phase of Celestial Finance rolls out with new features, you’ll start to see the benefits and incentives of maintaining various prize zones for Radiance.
